One of the best parts of living and working in such a great community is seeing the smiles we’ve created out and around town. I always look forward to attending local theatrical productions at Calabasas and Agoura high schools, where I can watch my patients in action!
I received my dental degree from St. Louis University and completed a general practice residency at Philadelphia General Hospital. Upon completion of my residency, I served as a US Navy Lieutenant dentist for a Marine helicopter squadron in Japan and Vietnam. After returning from active duty, I earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics with honors from USC. I have practiced orthodontics exclusively in the West Valley since that time.
In addition to practicing orthodontics, I also enjoy teaching and have been an associate professor in the graduate orthodontic department at USC for the past few decades. During this time I have been chosen Teacher of the Year three times!
I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and a member of the Edward Angle Society, where I have received multiple awards for clinical excellence.
In my spare time, I love playing the piano, tennis, skiing, and playing with my grandchildren (Eli, Ben, and Matty), as well as collecting contemporary art (some of which is displayed at the office). My adventurous wife and I also love traveling to exotic places and engaging with native cultures.
